SJSRY

This scheme was launched by the Government of India through Directorate of Urban Development w.e.f. 01.12.1997 to provide assistance to the un employed and under-employed poor to set up self employment ventures, and imparting training in different trades or providing wage employment to urban poor by way of creating Urban Infrastructure.

EIUS/NSDP

           This Scheme is being implemented through Directorate of Urban Development from the year 1999-2000.

            Aim and objective of this scheme is to improve the environment condition of urban slum dwellers living in slum pockets. This
         scheme is being carried out by providing community facilities such as Path, drains, Rehan Basera (shelter), Toilet, Street light, Parks,
         Roads and storm water drains (gutters) etc. to benefit the slum population.

RGURF

             This scheme was announced by the Hon’ble Chief Minister in his Budget Speech for the year 2006-07. Main objective of this
           scheme is infrastructure and sanitation improvement.

           Rs. 94.00 lacs were received under this scheme vide letter No. UD-H(F)(10)-2/2005/RGURF-4140 dated 23.04.2008,which was used

13th Finance Commission Special Grant

The 13th Central Finance Commission recommended an amount of Rs. 50.00 Crore for 13 towns for the development of parking, sewerage, drainage, and solid waste management. This funding has been released starting from the year 2011–12.

This Municipal Council has been selected among the 13 towns for receiving the 13th Finance Commission grant.

13th Finance Commission General Grant : -
                
                      Recommendation of the Thirteenth Finance Commission constituted by Government of India will cover the Period of
           2010-15. Grant received under the scheme will be utilized for the improvement of urban services as mentioned hereunder : -

         1.   Sanitation.

         2.   Solid waste management.

         3.  Drainage.

         4.  Street Lights.

         5.  Parking.

         6.  E-Governance.

         7.  Sewerage connectivity.

         8.  Maintenance of Assets.

         9.  Development/protection of parks including avenue plantation.

         10.  Salary and wages (not more than 20% of the total release).
